Description
Location. The contemporary Seven Hills hotel is located in the centre of the Old City of Istanbul, Turkey. The famous Hagia Sofia, originally a Byzantine church, later a mosque, and now a museum is 20 metres away. Topkapi Palace, once the administrative centre of the Ottoman Empire, and the Blue Mosque are 15 metres from the hotel. The Islamic and Turkish Art Museum is within 100 metres. The Grand Bazaar and seafront are each 300 metres away.

The hotel's Seven Hills Restaurant offers complimentary buffet breakfast and panoramic views over Istanbul through large windows, and from its terrace. Turkish, French and Italian food is served, with seafood specialities. Turkish music plays in the evenings on the Seven Hills hotel's bar terrace, where cocktails are served. There is 24 hour room service.

Distance to the Seven Hills hotel is 18 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Both airport terminals are connected to the metro system, which runs to the city centre. Single tickets cost about 1 TRY. The Havas Airport bus departs every 30 minutes for the main bus terminal and Taksim Square, in central Istanbul. Journey time is about 30 minutes. Bus number 96 runs between the airport and the city centre, and a shuttle bus runs to the port. Taxis wait outside Arrivals; fixed prices are in place and the fare to the city centre should be about 20 TRY 30 TRY. At night, there is a 50 percent surcharge. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Seven Hills hotel is on Tevkifhane Sk in central Istanbul. Istanbul's extensive public transport system includes buses, metros (underground trains), trains, trams, sea buses, and ferries. Tickets can be purchased from main stops, stations, or kiosks prior to boarding. Istanbul's yellow taxis are reasonably priced, but travellers should ensure the meter is used. A cheaper alternative is to use a 'dolmus' (minibus or shared taxi). Driving is not advised for visitors.

Rome

Only a few minutes walk south the Vatican City you will find Trastevere. An array of narrow cobbled streets and lonely plazas served artists like Giorgio de Chirico as the inspiration for their works.
