DirectionsGetting there.The metro system connects the airport to Aksaray in the city centre, from here travellers can connect to the tram and bus system. The metro station is connected to both terminals via an underground walkway. A single ticket costs around 1 TRY. T Sultanahment is the nearest tram to the hotel, 200 metres away. The Havas Airport Bus runs every 30 minutes to Taksim Square in central Istanbul and to the Esenler bus terminal. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Airport Taxis are available from outside Arrivals and should cost around 20 30 TRY to the city centre. At night a 50 percent surcharge is added. Shared taxis, Dolmus, are also available from the airport. Alternatively, the hotel offers a transfer service (surcharge). All prices subject to change. Istanbul has an extensive public transport network comprised of metros (underground trains), buses, trams, trains, ferries and sea buses. Tickets are available from stations, main stops, or kiosks and should be purchased in advance of boarding. Istanbul has a large fleet of yellow taxis which are relatively inexpensive, but travellers should make sure the meter is on. A cheaper way of getting around is to use a Dolmus (shared taxi or minibus). Driving is not recommended in the city.
Driving directions.From the airport turn right and take the road signposted Yesilyurt. After approximately two kilometres turn left at the sign for Sahilyolu, and then left again at the traffic lights towards Sultanhment. Follow directions for the Four Seasons Hotel and the Best Western Acropol is on the same road.
