Description
Location. Poised in the Sultanahmet district of Istanbul, Turkey, is the Hotel Nena. Standing five stories high, this red faced structure sits 100 meters from the St. Sophia Museum, Blue Mosque, Underground Palace Cistern and Byzantine Hippodrome. The light rail metro system connects the airport to Esenler. Havas airport buses run to central Istanbul (Taksim Square) and to the bus terminal on demand (journey time: 30 minutes). Services also operate to Akmerkez (Etiler). Taxis or dolmus (shared taxis) are available from the airport. Many of Istanbul's attractions are within walking distance of the hotel. City and private buses run services in Istanbul. The suburban train network is old but reliable and inexpensive. Istanbul's metro is under construction, though some lines are already in service; it's inexpensive, with frequent services. There are also several tramlines. Istanbul has a large fleet of yellow taxis, but a cheaper way of getting around the streets is to hire a dolmus, (shared taxi or minibus). Ferries and catamarans are a cheap, fun way to get around.

Rome
