Description
The Hotel Sidera Palace is an unusually shaped modern hotel situated in the centre of Istanbul, 300 metres from the Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar. The 17 air conditioned guestrooms are spread over four floors and have Turkish style decor with rich red patterned fabrics and wooden floors. All guestrooms include satellite television, direct dial phones with free local calls, wireless Internet, complimentary newspapers, minibars, and bathrooms with toiletries, slippers and hair dryers.
Guests can relax in the Turkish bath or sauna, or chat over drinks by the fireplace in the bar. Sidera Wine House serves a modern fusion of Italian, French and Turkish cuisine in a room with stone walls and traditional Turkish decor. Guests can also dine or enjoy drinks in the winter garden. Staff at the 24 hour front desk can exchange currency, store valuables in the safety deposit box, and offer tour assistance. Those arriving by car can take advantage of free parking. Visitors will find the Archaeological Museum 150 metres away, and the splendid Topkapi Palace 400 metres away. Ataturk Airport is 18 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 25 minutes.

Under the Turkish Ministry for Tourism, hotels and other tourist residences in Turkey are rated as per a set of national standards. There are seven categories of rating in operation: one star to five star hotels, 'Special Class' hotels and 'Boutique Class' hotels. Currently this hotel has no official grading from the Turkish Ministry for Tourism but it is represented on this site with a star rating for our customers' benefit.
