Description
The Orient Express Hotel is a stylish hotel set in the Sirkeci district of old Istanbul, close to the old town of Sultanahmet, 500 metres from the famous Ottoman Topkapi Palace. This seven floor hotel features 54 guestrooms with traditional English country style decor and simple pastel colours. All guestrooms include minibars, air condition, televisions, direct dial telephones, and bathroom with make up mirrors and hair dryers.
Guests can enjoy a dip in the hotel pool while admiring paintings of Istanbul on the walls. Alternatively guests can sip on a cocktail in the Orient Express themed Wagon Bar where guests are made to feel like they are sitting in a carriage on the Orient Express, the famous train that pulled in to Sikreci station. Guests can then choose to eat Mediterranean cuisine on the hotel's terrace while enjoying views of the Bosphorus, Topkapi Palace and St Sophia Roman church. Alternatively guests can dine at the Ottoman restaurant where they can sample Turkish and international dishes. Room service is available round the clock and multilingual hotel staff can advise on local amenities and attractions. Guests can visit the Topkapi Palace, St Sophia Roman church, Roman Basilica and Sultanahmet Mosque, all are within walking distance.

There are seven categories of rating in operation: one star to five star hotels, 'Special Class' hotels and 'Boutique Class' hotels.
