Description
Location. The Orsep Royal Hotel is located in Istanbul, Turkey, 200 metres from Gulhane tram and train station and 300 metres from the Spice Bazaar. The Turkish and Islamic Art Museum is 500 metres from the hotel. Hotel Features. DirectionsFrom Istanbul Ataturk Airport (IST): Distance to Orsep Royal Hotel is 18 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Both airport terminals are connected to the metro system, which runs to the city centre. Single tickets cost about 1 TRY. The Havas Airport bus departs every 30 minutes for the main bus terminal and Taksim Square, in central Istanbul. Journey time is about 30 minutes. Bus number 96 runs between the airport and the city centre, and a shuttle bus runs to the port. Taxis wait outside Arrivals; fixed prices are in place and the fare to the city centre should be about 20 TRY 30 TRY. At night, there is a 50 percent surcharge. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Istanbul's extensive public transport system includes buses, metros (underground trains), trains, trams, sea buses, and ferries. Tickets can be purchased from main stops, stations, or kiosks prior to boarding. Istanbul's yellow taxis are reasonably priced, but travellers should ensure the meter is used. A cheaper alternative is to use a 'dolmus' (minibus or shared taxi). Driving is not advised for visitors.

Rome
Old Rome was the heart of Roman medieval and Renaissance periods. It features Italy's most beautiful plazas, cathedrals and antique monuments such as the Pantheon, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum reaching back as far as 2000 years.
