Description
Location. The Tria Hotel Istanbul is located in Istanbul, Turkey, within 200 metres of Topkapi Palace, and Sultan Ahmed Mosque, and 750 metres from the Grand Bazaar. Sirkeci metro station is 750 metres away. Hotel Features. This boutique hotel features a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Bosphorus, and the Marmara Sea. There is a library, lounge with television, bar, and restaurant on site. Babysitting or childcare is available, and complimentary wireless Internet access is offered throughout this hotel. Drivers will find complimentary secure parking on site.
A complimentary continental breakfast is available daily to guests of the Tria Hotel Istanbul. International cuisine is served at the Terrace restaurant, and guests can dine al fresco at the terrace in summer.

Guestrooms. The 20 air conditioned guestrooms are spread out on four floors, and feature separate seating areas. All have parquet flooring, and cotton and satin blend linen. Amenities include satellite television, direct dial multi line phones, and complimentary wireless Internet access. Further amenities include coffee/tea makers, refrigerators, desks, minibars, and slippers. Bathrooms have telephones, bathrobes, designer toiletries, and hair dryers.
Expert Tip. The Sultan Ahmed Mosque is a historical Ottoman mosque, and one of several mosques known as the Blue Mosque for its blue tiled interior walls. Built between 1609 and 1616, during the rule of Ahmed I, it is the last great mosque of the classical period. It also comprises a tomb of the founder, a school, and hospice.

DirectionsFrom Istanbul Ataturk Airport (ATA): Distance to Tria Hotel Istanbul is 17 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Both airport terminals are connected to the metro system, which runs to the city centre. Single tickets cost about 1 TRY. Alight at Zeytinburnu Station, and take the tram to Sultan Ahmed Station. The hotel is a seven minute walk from there. Taxis wait outside Arrivals; fixed prices are in place and the fare to the Tria Hotel should be about 20 TRY. At night, there is a 50 percent surcharge. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Istanbul's extensive public transport system includes buses, metros (underground trains), trains, trams, sea buses, and ferries. Tickets can be purchased from main stops, stations, or kiosks prior to boarding. Istanbul's yellow taxis are reasonably priced, but travellers should ensure the meter is used. A cheaper alternative is to use a 'dolmus' (minibus or shared taxi). Driving is not advised for visitors.
Driving directions. Depart Ataturk Airport. Take the coastal road directly to Sultanahmet, and the Tria Hotel.

Rome
Old Rome was the heart of Roman medieval and Renaissance periods. It features Italy's most beautiful plazas, cathedrals and antique monuments such as the Pantheon, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum reaching back as far as 2000 years. Piazzas such as the Navona, Campo de' Fiori offer picturesque settings ideal for a romantic laid-back dining and wining. Many of the hotels in Rome are centered around the historical city centre.
The Vatican: The Vatican is a state on its own. The Papal City State with an endless treasure troves of sights, relics and the world-known Vatican museum. Only a few minutes walk south the Vatican City you will find Trastevere. An array of narrow cobbled streets and lonely plazas served artists like Giorgio de Chirico as the inspiration for their works.
